My name is Kelly Pereira and I am currently teaching 3rd grade in Pawtucket, RI. I recently got married and traveled to Italy and France for my honeymoon. My passion is travel and I have visited many countries in my 29 years. I even lived in Australia for a few months.

We seem to have so much in common. I also honeymooned in Italy which is where I got married 5 and a 1/2 years ago. The scenery and architecture is spectacular! We toured around Rome, Pisa, and Tuscany. I can't wait to go back someday.
Like you, I lived in Australia for over a year. I worked on a boat that toured around the Whitsundays on the East coast. Have you been there? Where did you live?
Lastly, I taught 3rd grade and think it is the ideal age to teach. They are old enough to be independent but not too old because the hormones haven't kicked in yet.

ReplyDeleteWe actually got married at the Town Hall in Rome on a Sunday. It was extremely hot even at 10:30 in the morning, and thankfully we were the first wedding of the day so we didn't feel like we were on a conveyor boat of weddings. i did however feel a little like a movie star as i walked around Rome in the evening after we had dinner. You wouldn't believe the amount of tourists that were taking pictures and making home movies of our small wedding party walking around the cobbled street taking in the scenery.
How exciting that you are jet-setting to the Azores this summer. It sounds very exotic and I bet the water is warm and turquoise just like the coast off the Great Barrier Reef in Aussie. Do you have any family that you will be visiting in the Azores?
